Soon after we discovered that there was a lawsuit to block enforcement of SB12 at the state level, we also discovered that a local group, Abilene Pride Alliance, was one of the plaintiffs. At the same time, we also discovered that specifically the City of Abilene, Taylor County, and the Taylor County District Attorney were also named defendants.

We felt that it was important to educate & inform the community of why this mattered to them, in order to protect, defend, and preserve our children. We are not against a specific population, only those who intend to do things that will bring harm to our children.

In order to educate & inform the community, the Abilene Republican Women’s Club and other concerned citizens have contributed financially to this effort.
